Where Keeper may suit you better
We would rather you found the right place than the wrong one. Here is where Keeper does something we do not.
- A family-tree maker that links relatives' memorials together. Cherished Book has no family tree.
- KeeperQR physical plaques for the headstone, and walk-to-grave GPS directions at the cemetery. We offer a resting-place map link, but no physical hardware or GPS routing.
- A paid concierge that writes and curates the memorial for you, including two phone calls. We help with AI drafting, but there is no human done-for-you service.
Where Cherished Book is different
- 68 faith-matched designs with a Faith Gate and secondary calendars (Hijri, Hebrew and more). Keeper has custom obituaries, but no faith logic.
- A designed PDF memorial book plus a free full export of everything. Keeper keeps your memorial on its platform.
- No upsells to visitors. Keeper's free tier sells flowers and gifts to the people who come to grieve.
- Free to start, with Premium planned as a one-time $30. Keeper charges $99 or $350 up front.
A note on price

Cherished Book is free to start. Premium is currently free while we finish building it, and is planned as a one-time $30 with no subscription and no visitor upsells. See our pricing page for the detail.
Free to start, no card needed. The Keeper link opens in a new tab.
Common questions
Does Cherished Book have a family tree?
No. A family tree that links memorials is something Keeper does and we do not, at our last review. If that matters most to you, Keeper may suit you better.
Can I get a QR plaque for the headstone?
Keeper offers physical KeeperQR plaques. Cherished Book generates a QR code you can print on cards and the order of service, but not an engraved plaque.
Which respects faith better?
Cherished Book is built around faith and tradition, with matched designs, secondary calendars and rite-aware events. Keeper offers custom obituaries without that faith logic.
Which is cheaper?
Cherished Book is free to start, with Premium planned as a one-time $30. Keeper is $99 or $350 one-time.
