The Memorial Slideshow turns the memorial into a video: their photographs and the words people shared, in the order of their life, with gentle music if you want it. Play it at the service, send it to family, or keep it.
From the memorial to a video
When the memorial has gathered its stories, Cherished Book can make it into a slideshow. We take short passages from the obituary and from what people wrote, place them in the order of their life, and set each one beside its photograph. Prayers and condolences come near the end.
Every word on screen is exactly as the family and friends wrote it. Our own writing tool, which runs on our servers, chooses which sentences to show and where they belong. It never rewrites them, and nothing is sent to an outside AI company.
You decide what goes in and in what order, the same way you choose what goes in the memorial book. Private messages, announcements and events are never included.

Questions about the Memorial Slideshow
Is the Memorial Slideshow free?
The Memorial Slideshow is part of Premium, alongside the PDF Memorial Book. A free memorial can still download all of its content as a plain export.
Can we use their favourite song?
We can only add music we have the right to share, so the slideshow uses our own small library. If there is a song that meant a lot to them, choose No music and play the song alongside the video at the service.
Does the AI write anything?
No. It chooses which sentences to show and where they belong in the story. Every word on screen was written by the family and friends, exactly as they wrote it.
How long is it?
It depends on how much has been shared, and it is never more than ten minutes. Most run for a few minutes.
Can we change it after it is made?
Yes. Choose what goes in and change the order, then make a new one. The copy you have stays until the new one is ready.
