In lieu of flowers, somewhere that mattered

Many families would rather see giving go to a cause their loved one cared about than to flowers that fade in a week. A memorial fund link points mourners to the right place, and we take no cut of what they give.

A link, not a middleman

You add the charity or fundraiser you want to support, and the memorial shows it clearly to everyone who visits. When someone chooses to give, they go straight to that cause. Cherished Book does not process the donation, hold the money, or take a percentage. The whole gift reaches where it was meant to go.

This is a deliberate choice. Some platforms take a cut of every donation made through a memorial. We would rather keep it simple and honest: we point the way, and the giving is between the donor and the cause.

How it differs from other platforms

  • We link out to a charity or fundraiser rather than processing money ourselves.
  • We take no percentage and add no fee to what people give.
  • You can point to a registered charity, a fundraiser page, or both.
  • The link sits naturally on the memorial, without pressure or hard selling.

Questions about memorial funds

Does Cherished Book take a cut of donations?

No. We link out to the cause you choose and take nothing from what people give.

Can I link to any charity?

You can link to a registered charity or a fundraiser page that matters to your family.

Is on-platform fundraising available?

Not at the moment. We link out to where giving is handled rather than collecting funds ourselves. If you need a built-in donation meter, some other platforms offer that, and we say so plainly on our comparison pages.
